OsMA Silver Strategy (XAGUSD, D1)
A daily swing framework for XAGUSD using OsMA momentum + trend.
We avoid chasing first spikes: wait for trend alignment, then OsMA re‑expand after a pullback and only then commit.
Tools
- Trend filter: EMA100/200 or market structure (HH/HL vs LH/LL).
- OsMA (12,26,9): bias via zero‑line and impulse via histogram expansion.
- ATR(14, D1): stop distance & position sizing.

Market logic
Silver tends to trend in waves on D1. Entries after a controlled pullback and OsMA re‑acceleration have better follow‑through than breakout buys.
Setup checklist
- Trend: price above EMA100/200 and making HL (or below and making LH).
- Pullback: return to EMA zone / prior swing without breaking trend structure.
- OsMA: histogram turns back with the trend (>0 rising for longs; <0 falling for shorts).
Trigger
- Long: bullish bar from EMA/swing that closes with trend while OsMA rises above zero or re‑expands.
- Short: symmetric under EMAs with OsMA below zero and expanding.

Entry
- Enter on close of the trigger candle or limit on a shallow retest of the EMA/swing zone.
Stop Loss
- ATR(14) × 1.2–1.6 or beyond the pullback extreme (whichever is wider).
Take Profit / Management
- TP1: take 1/2 at 1.5R.
- TP2: trail the rest behind last swing or EMA100; scale out near weekly/session levels.

Filters & risk
- Skip when trend filter is flat or OsMA whipsaws around zero.
- Stand aside around tier‑1 USD data (NFP, CPI, FOMC; ±60–90 min).
- Risk ≤ 0.5% per position; one active trade in same direction.
