Supertrend Main Session (EURUSD, H1)

A rules‑based intraday approach for EURUSD on the H1 chart that combines Supertrend with a Main‑Session filter. We only act during the London/NY core hours and follow Supertrend bias with disciplined entries.

Tools & settings

• Supertrend: ATR Period 10, Multiplier 3.0 (adjust to your template if it differs in the source).
• Session filter: trade only the Main Session (e.g., London core and overlap with NY). Outside those hours — observation only.
• ATR(14, H1) — for stop sizing and optional trailing.

Market idea

Supertrend provides a directional scaffold. Restricting trades to the Main Session filters out low‑energy moves, improving follow‑through and reducing noise.

Long setup

1. Supertrend has flipped to bullish (price above the line / buy state).
2. We are within the Main Session window.
3. Wait for a shallow pullback that does not close beyond Supertrend. Trigger: enter on the first bullish close back in direction or upon a brief retest‑hold of Supertrend.

Short setup

1. Supertrend is bearish (sell state / price below line).
2. We are inside the Main Session.
3. Take the first fair pullback that holds below the line. Trigger: sell on a bearish confirm close or on a failed retest into the line.
