Triple WPR Strategy (M5)

Three Williams %R curves on M5: align multi‑speed momentum, take reclaim triggers from extremes, and manage risk with ATR and fixed‑R exits.

Triple WPR Strategy (M5)

Intraday mean‑revert → continuation blend using three Williams %R speeds.
Stack %R fast / medium / slow to read short‑term exhaustion plus background bias. Enter when price reclaims micro‑structure as %R curves fan out with the trade.

Tools

  • Williams %R set to fast (5), medium (14), slow (28).
  • Session levels and recent swing boxes.
  • ATR(14) on M5 for stop and sizing.

Context

Signal logic

  • Look for price pushing into an extreme while fast %R turns first, then medium, with slow supportive (not against).
  • Prefer when the three curves fan from one side toward neutral.

Trigger (reclaim)

  1. Mark the last micro swing/box edge.
  2. Enter on close back through that level with at least two %R lines already turned with you.
  3. No trigger within 3–6 bars → skip.

Trigger

Entry

  • On close of the trigger candle, or limit on a tiny pullback to the reclaimed level.

Stop Loss

  • Beyond the extreme wick or ATR(14) × 1.2–1.8.
  • Add a small buffer for spread.

Take Profit

  • First scale: 1.5R–2R.
  • Runner: trail behind micro‑swings; exit if slow %R crosses back against you.

Risk model

Filters

  • Avoid major‑news windows (±30–60 min).
  • Skip dead liquidity or when %R lines are flat and tangled.
  • Risk ≤ 0.5%–1% per trade; one active position per symbol.
