TRIX & 2MA (H1)

A momentum‑trend hybrid for the H1 chart that pairs TRIX with two Moving Averages. TRIX filters momentum swings while the MAs define bias and timing.

Tools & settings

• TRIX(14), signal 9 (adjust if the source template differs).
• MA fast = 20, MA slow = 50 (SMA/EMA — keep consistent across both).
• Optional: ATR(14, H1) for risk sizing.

Market idea

Use the MA pair for directional structure and TRIX for impulse confirmation. Trades are taken when momentum and structure align.

Long setup

1. Price is above the slow MA and the fast MA is above the slow.
2. TRIX crosses above its signal (or zero line per variant) on a fresh swing. Trigger: buy on the confirm close or quick retest‑hold toward the fast MA.

Short setup

1. Price is below the slow MA and the fast MA is below the slow.
2. TRIX crosses below its signal (or zero line by variant) with momentum. Trigger: sell on a bearish confirm close or a failed retest to the fast MA.

Risk & management

• Stop‑loss: beyond the nearest swing or ATR(14) × 1.2–1.6.
• TP1: take ½ at 1.2R–1.6R.
• TP2: trail by fast MA or swing structure; reduce at HTF levels.
